Introduction

There are many important organizations in Tibia, but undoubtedly one of the best known is the Postman Guild, or the Tibia postmen. Although many may believe it’s a boring job that’s just about traveling and delivering letters, it’s much more than that.

Making sure that travel routes are in good condition, that all tibia people are able to send their letters or packages to loved ones, that the postmen themselves are safe when making their deliveries, are just small things at the risk of delivering mysterious packages in faraway places, and even engaging with creatures of other races who also use the postal service. For this reason, the Postman Guild is so recognized and so loved by all the inhabitants of Tibia, and it is an honor to join their ranks and be another postman, not only ready to make deliveries but also to take risks in order to achieve their goals.

The Postman Missions Quest, better known as Postman Quest, is an adventure not very difficult but also not excessively easy. Many players decide to make it because in the long run, the economic benefit it brings is very good for the pocket. It’s a big challenge, but at the same time it makes you go around a lot from place to place, so for some it can be a somewhat tedious Quest.

Required Items:
– Rope or the “Magic Rope” spell.
– Shovel or Light Shovel.
– Money for olrik’s travel and game.
– Crowbar.
– 20 Bones.
– Dirty Fur.
– Banana Skin.
– Moldy Cheese.
– Grapes.
– 12 Arrows.

To get started, you need to head to the Post Office, located between the Dwarf Bridge (Dwarven Bridge) and Mount Sternum. On the map you can see exactly where it is located, also taking as references places such as the Green Claw Swamp and the Jakundaf Desert to the south. There are no strong creatures around, chances are you’ll find yourself with Wolves only.

Once you get to the aforementioned Post Office (A), you’ll meet Wally, however we’re not looking for him. Go to the second floor and you’ll see Kevin Postner, talk to him.

First Dialogue with Kevin

Player:
Hi (Hello)

Kevin:
Greetings [nombre], what brings you to the headquarter of the postmaster’s guild?
(Greetings, [nombre], what brings you to the postman guild barracks?)

Player:
Job (Work)

Kevin:
I am the head of the Tibian Postmaster’s Guild.
(I’m the leader of the Tibia Postmen’s Guild.)

Player:
Postmaster’s Guild (Gremio de Carteros)

Kevin:
We are a powerful organisation that is vital part of Tibian society. It’s a honor and a privilege to be a member.
(We are a powerful organization that is a vital part of Tibia society. It is an honor and a privilege to be a member.)

Player
: Member (Member)

Kevin:
We have high standards for our members. To rise in our guild is a difficult but rewarding task. Why do you ask? Are you interested in joining?
(We have high standards for our members. Growing up in our guild is a difficult but comforting task. Why are you asking? Are you interested in joining?)

Player:
Yes (Yes)

Kevin:
Hm, I might consider your proposal, but first you will have to prove your worth by doing some tasks for us. Are you willing to do that?
(Hm, I might consider your proposal, but first you’ll prove your worth by doing some tasks for us. Are you willing to do that?)

Player:
Yes (Yes)

Kevin:
Excellent! Your first task will be simple. But you should better write my instructions down anyways. You can read and write?
(Excellent! Your first task will be very simple. You’d better write my instructions anyway. Can you read and write?)

Player:
Yes (Yes)

Kevin:
So listen, you will check certain tours our members have to take to see if there is some trouble. First travel with Captain Bluebear’s ship from Thais to Carlin, understood?
(Listen, you’ll review certain trips our members need to make to see if there’s a problem. First travel with Captain Bluebear from Thais to Carlin, understand?)

Player:
Yes (Yes)

Kevin:
Excellent! Once you have done that you will travel with Uzon to Edron. You will find him in the Femor Hills. Understood?
(Excellent! Once you’ve done that, you’ll travel with Uzon to Edron. You’ll find it in Femor Hills. Understood?)

Player:
Yes (Yes)

Kevin:
Fine, fine! Next, travel with Captain Seahorse to the city of Venore. Understood?
(Okay, good! He then travels with Captain Seahorse to the city of Venore. Understood?)

Player:
Yes (Yes)

Kevin:
Good! Finally, find the technomancer Brodrosch and travel with him to the Isle of Cormaya. After this passage report back to me here. Understood?
(Good! Finally, he finds technomancer Brodrosch and travels with him to the island of Cormaya. After that, report to me. Understood?)

Player:
Yes (Yes)

Kevin:
Ok, remember: the Tibian mail service puts trust in you! Don’t fail and report back soon. Just tell me about your MISSION.
(Ok, remember: Tibia’s mail service trusts you! Don’t fail and report soon. Just tell me about your MISSION.)

Player:
Bye (Goodbye)

Kevin:
Good bye. (Goodbye)

At the end of the dialogue with Kevin, it’s time to start making a few trips, so we recommend grabbing some money so you don’t need it later.

Exit the Post Office and walk south to head towards the city of Thais. Once in it, walk west of the city to meet you at the port (B). In it, you’ll find Captain Bluebear’s ship. Don’t waste any more time talking to him.

Dialogue with Captain Bluebear

Player:
Hi (Hello)

Captain Bluebear:
Welcome on board, [nombre]. Where can I sail you today?
(Welcome aboard, [nombre]. Where can I take you today?)

Player:
Carlin

Captain Bluebear:
Do you seek a passage to Carlin for 110 gold?
(Looking for a ticket to Carlin for 110 pieces of gold?)

Player:
Yes (Yes)

Captain Bluebear:
Set the sails!
(Slight anchors!)

After you’ve said those words, you’ll appear on Captain Greyhound’s boat in Carlin. Get off the boat and get out of the port (B). Walk down the street in front of the port to the north, until you reach the theater, and leave the city through the eastern portal, passing through the cemetery.

From that point, walk east to Femur Hills. As soon as you see the café mountains of the place, start walking south, surrounding the mountain. You’ll see some stairs, but keep walking south. You’ll pass a bridge, then keep walking south and you’ll see some second stairs (C). For these if you have to go up. Get to the top of the mountain and you’ll meet Uzon, the carpet pilot mentioned by Kevin, talk to him.

Dialogue with Uzon

Player:
Hi (Hello)

Uzon:
Daraman’s blessings, traveller [nombre]. Where do you want me to fly you?
(Blessings of Daraman, traveler [nombre]. Where do you want me to take you?)

Player:
Edron

Uzon:
Do you seek a ride to Edron for 60 gold?
(Looking for a trip to Edron for 60 pieces of gold?)

Player:
Yes (Yes)

Uzon:
Hold on!

At the end of this dialogue, you will have appeared in the city of Edron, next to Pino. Go down either side of the fortress (C) and leave it through the northern portal to find the port, with Captain Seahorse’s ship (D), who you need to talk to.

Dialogue with Captain Seahorse

Player:
Hi (Hello)

Captain Seahorse:
Welcome on board, [nombre]. Where can I sail you today?
(Welcome aboard, [nombre]. Where can I take you today?)

Player:
Venore

Captain Seahorse:
Do you seek a passage to Venore for 40 gold?
(Looking for a ticket to Venore for 40 pieces of gold?)

Player:
Yes (Yes)

Captain Seahorse:
Set the sails!
(Slight anchors!)

Once the dialogue is over, you’ll find yourself on Venore’s boat with Captain Fearless. Get out of the boat and the city, through the western portal. Follow the path to the west, pass over the bridge, and continue walking in this direction until you reach the Dwarven Bridge (E). Go through it and kill the Dwarves or Dwarf Soldier you can find, go down the stairs (F).

Walk north to enter the caves inside The Big Old One. As you pass, you will see a path that goes to the right. Don’t go for it and go down the one on the left side, later. In this part you’ll face Spiders and Wolves (even though you hear Wyverns, you won’t meet them). Keep walking, always taking the road on the left, until you find a place to climb with your Rope, go for it (G). As you go up, you’ll probably face some Spiders, kill them, and go up the next hole you see (H). After going down, walk north through the trees until you reach some stairs, you will have reached Kazordoon (I).

Go down the stairs and then walk far south, until you see some train cars (X). If you purchased a Ticket, you can use them to quickly head to the steamship. Otherwise, continue to your right and go down the stairs (J). When you get down, you’re probably attacked by a Rat or Bat. Walk north until you see an unpaved passage, with dirt, walk down it and go down the stairs (K).

Coming out of the other side (L), you’re probably attacked by some Dwarves. Keep walking to your right and you’ll see two holes (M) and (m). The difference from one to the other is that because (M) the road is direct and you will have to face almost nothing, while by (m), you’ll go into some mines and face Dwarves and Dwarf Soldier. Just follow the maps and you’ll get to the holes (N) and (n), respectively. They both take you to the same floor, where you’ll find one last hole (O), go down for it.

Once down, you’ll find yourself on the floor with the wagons (X), which is where you should have appeared if you used them correctly. Walk north and you’ll meet Brodrosch’s steamship (P), talk to him.

Dialogue with Brodrosch

Player:
Hi (Hello)

Brodrosch:
Welcome, [nombre]! May Earth protect you, even whilst sailing! Need a passage to Cormaya, or a ticket for the ore wagon system here?
(Welcome, [nombre]! May the Earth protect you, even as long as you sail! Do you need a ticket to Cormaya, or a ticket to the wagon system here?)

Player:
Cormaya

Brodrosch:
So you want to go to Cormaya? 160 gold?
(So you want to go to Cormaya? 160 pieces of gold?)

Player:
Yes (Yes)

Brodrosch:
Full steam ahead!
(At all steam!)

Once these words are said, you will appear on Gurbasch’s steamship on the island of Cormaya. With this, you will have made the last trip Kevin asked you to make and you can go back to him to report.

To get out of here, walk south and climb the series of stairs to the surface. Walk west and then north until you reach the small boat of Pemaret (Q), located next to the houses. With it, you can travel to Edron and from there, take the route you consider appropriate to get back to Kevin’s.

When you get back to the Post Office, go up to Kevin’s and immediately report it to him about your mission.

Second Dialogue with Kevin

Player:
Hi (Hello)

Kevin:
Greetings [nombre], what brings you to the headquarter of the postmaster’s guild?
(Greetings, [nombre], what brings you to the postman guild barracks?)

Player: Mission (Mission)

Kevin:
So you have finally made it! I did not think that you would have it in you … However: are you ready for another assignment?
(So you finally did! I didn’t think you’d take it in you … However: are you ready for another assignment?)

Player:
Yes (Yes)

Kevin:
I am glad to hear that. One of our mailboxes was reported to be jammed. It is located on the so called ‘mountain’ on the isle Folda. Get a crowbar and fix the mailbox. Report about your mission when you have done so.
(I’m happy to hear that. We were told one of our mailboxes was stuck. It is located in the renowned ‘mountain’ of the island of Folda. Get a Crowbar and fix the mailbox. Report your mission when you’ve done so.)

Player: Bye (Goodbye)

Kevin:
Good bye. (Goodbye)

As you can see, the next place to visit is the distant island of Folda, one of the Ice Islands. However, don’t forget to wear a Crowbar. You can buy a Crowbar in Edron, Darashia, Venore, Kazordoon and With Lubo northeast of Thais, although it is also possible to get it from Behemoths, who throw them away easily.

You see a crowbar (Atk:5, Def:6).
It weighs 21.00 oz.
It may come in handy sometime.

When you have the Crowbar, head to the city of Carlin and get out of it through the western or northern portal. Walk northwest, killing some Bats and Bears along the way, until you reach the raft where Nielson (A) is located, which will take you to Folda for 20gp.

When you travel, you’ll appear on Folda’s raft, next to Svenson. From where you are, walk west to pass a small bridge. Some Frost Trolls will quickly come to attack you, kill them. You’ll listen to some Wyverns and you’ll probably see them upstairs, but don’t worry about them as you don’t have to go through there. On the left, you will see a passage that enters into the mountain, go for it and in the background you will see two stairs, one up and one down (B). Go up.

When you climb up, you’ll face 3 Frost Trolls. Kill them and climb the stairs just to the south. Once up, a Winter Wolf will probably come to you, kill him and go up the stairs again to your right. There you will find the mailbox you were looking for. Simply use the Crowbar over the mailbox and a green flash will appear above it, indicating that you’ve done your job well.

Now you can go back to Kevin to report the mission. To return to the mainland, simply ask Svenson for a ticket to Tibia.

When you’re back on the mainland after your short visit to Folda Island, quickly return to the Post Office to discuss your mission to Kevin, who is waiting for you with more than one surprise.

Third Dialogue with Kevin

Player:
Hi (Hello)

Kevin:
Greetings [nombre], what brings you to the headquarter of the postmaster’s guild?
(Greetings, [nombre], what brings you to the postman guild barracks?)

Player:
Mission (Mission)

Kevin:
Excellent, you got it fixed! This will teach this mailbox a lesson indeed! Are you interested in another assignment?
(Excellent, you fixed it! No doubt this will teach that mailbox a lesson! Are you interested in another assignment?)

Player:
Yes (Yes)

Kevin:
For your noble deeds I grant you the title Assistant Postofficer. All Postofficers will charge you less money from now on. After every second mission ask me for an ADVANCEMENT. Your next task will be a bit more challenging. Do you feel ready for it?
(For your noble efforts, I grant you the title of Assistant Postman. All postmen will ask you for less money from now on. Every two missions you perform ask me for an ADVANCE. Your next task will be a little more challenging. Do you feel ready?)

Player:
Yes (Yes)

Kevin:
I need you to deliver a bill to the stage magician David Brassacres. He’s hiding from his creditors somewhere in Venore. It’s likely you will have to trick him somehow to reveal his identity. Report back when you delivered this bill.
(I need you to take a bill to magician David Brassacres. He’s hiding from his debtors somewhere in Venore. You’ll probably have to trick him in some way to reveal his identity. Report when you have delivered your invoice.)

Player:
Bye (Goodbye)

Kevin:
Good bye. (Goodbye)

As you just witnessed, you’ve been promoted from a simple beginner in the ranks of postmen to an Assistant Postofficer. What do you get out of it? Well, from now on, all Tibia postmen will charge you less when you buy Parcels or Letters. From a value of 15gp, the Parcel will drop to 10gp. Letters, on the other hand, will drop from 8gp to 5gp.

You see a bill.
It weighs 1.50 oz.
This is a bill for an expensive magicians hat and several rabbits.

At the end of the dialogue you will receive that invoice, corresponding to an expensive magician’s hat and many rabbits. Someone like that should be easy to recognize.

Walk to the city of Venore, located east of the Post Office. Once there, head to the city’s Depot (A) and go down a couple of floors to enter the Hard Rock Tavern. Next to Maria’s tavern, you’ll see a guy in a hat named A Strange Fellow, talk to him.

Dialogue with A Strange Fellow

Player:
Hi (Hello)

A Strange Fellow:
Uh? What do you want, [nombre]?!
(Ah? What do you want [nombre]?)

Player:
Hat

A Strange Fellow:
What’s that? My hat?? Theres… nothing special about it!
(What? My hat? There’s none… nothing special with him!)

Player:
Hat

A Strange Fellow:
Stop bugging me about that hat, do you listen?
(Stop bothering me about my hat, you hear?)

Player:
Hat

A Strange Fellow:
Hey! Don’t touch that hat! Leave it alone!!! Don’t do this!!!!
(Hey! Don’t touch that hat! Leave me alone!!! Don’t do this!!!!)

Player:
Hat

A Strange Fellow:
Noooooo! Argh, ok, ok, I guess I can’t deny it anymore, I am David Brassacres, the magnificent, so what do you want?
(Noooooo! Argh, all right, all right, I guess I can’t deny it anymore, I’m David Brassacres, the magnificent one, so what do you want?)

[4 Rabbits will appear. Don’t kill them immediately, finish the dialogue first.]

Player:
Bill (Invoice)

A Strange Fellow:
Bill? Oh boy so you are delivering another bill to poor me?
(An invoice? Oh boy so you bring another bill for poor me?)

Player:
Yes (Yes)

A Strange Fellow:
Okay, okay, I’ll take it. I guess I have no other choice anyways. And now leave me alone in my misery please.
(All right, all right, I’ll take it. I guess I don’t have a choice. Now leave me alone in my misery please.)

Player: Bye (Goodbye)

A Strange Fellow:
Good riddance.
(Good escape.)

A Strange Fellow, or rather, David Brassacres, will take the bill out of your hands, so you will have completed the mission well. Get out of the Hard Rock Tavern and go talk to Kevin again to tell him about your experience.

After you have successfully handed over the invoice to David Brassacres, return to Kevin to give you information about your next mission.

Fourth Dialogue with Kevin

Player:
Hi (Hello)

Kevin:
Greetings [nombre], what brings you to the headquarter of the postmaster’s guild?
(Greetings, [nombre], what brings you to the postman guild barracks?)

Player:
Mission (Mission)

Kevin:
You truly got him? Remove impressive. You are a very promising candidate! I think I have another mission for you. Are you interested?
(Did you really catch him? Very impressive. You’re a very promising candidate! I think I have another mission for you. Interested?)

Player
: Yes

Kevin:
Okay, listen: we have some serious trouble with agressive dogs lately. We have accumulated some bones as a sort of pacifier but we need more. Collect 20 Bones like the one in my room to the left and report here.
(Okay, listen: we have serious problems with aggressive dogs right now last. We’ve accumulated some bones as some kind of peacemaker, but we need more. Gather 20 bones like the one in my room on the left and report here.)

Player:
Bye (Goodbye)

Kevin:
Good bye. (Goodbye)

As you can probably tell broadly, the mission is pretty easy. Just gather the 20 Bones Kevin wants.

A good place for this is the second underground floor of the Mount Sternum caves, where there are many Skeletons, who almost always throw Bones. Another good place for this is Femor Hills, since the Goblins also give many Bones.

Note that each Bone weighs 9.50oz, so everyone will weigh 170.00oz. However, if you’re concerned about your ability, Kevin gives you the ability to deliver all the Bones at once or one at a time, so you can choose which method fits you best.

Wherever you get them, as soon as you gather them all, go to Kevin’s to report your mission.

After you’ve collected the bones for Kevin, go back to them and give them to them. As we said before, it will give you the possibility to give them one by one or all together. It is best to give them all together, because if you do the other method, you will have to talk and repeat the same dialogue 20 times (It is not possible to give it more than one on any occasion).

Fifth Dialogue with Kevin

Player:
Hi (Hello)

Kevin:
Greetings [nombre], what brings you to the headquarter of the postmaster’s guild?
(Greetings, [nombre], what brings you to the postman guild barracks?)

Player: Mission (Mission)

Kevin:
Do you bring ONE bone for our officers’ safety fund or ALL bones at eleven?
(Tares ONE bone for our officer security foundation or ALL at once?)

Player:
All (All)

Kevin:
Are you sure you have collected all the 20 bones needed?
(Are you sure you’ve collected all 20 necessary bones?)

Player:
Yes (Yes)

Kevin:
You have collected all the 20 bones needed. Excellent! Now let’s talk about further missions if you are interested.
(You have collected the necessary 20 bones. excellent! Now let’s talk about more missions if you’re interested.)

Player:
Mission (Mission)

Kevin:
You have made it! We have enough bones for the fund! You remind me of myself when I was young! Interested in another mission?
(You’ve made it! We have enough bones for the foundation! You remind me of myself when I was young! Interested in another mission?)

Player:
Yes (Yes)

Kevin:
Your eagerness is a virtue, young one, but first lets talk about advancement.
(Your anxiety is a virtue, young man, but first let’s talk about your advancement.)

Player:
Advancement

Kevin:
You are worthy indeed. Do you want to advance in our guild?
(You’re definitely valuable. Do you want to advance in our guild?)

Player:
Yes (Yes)

Kevin:
I grant you the title of postman. You are now a full member of our guild. Here have your own officers hat and wear it with pride.
(I grant you the title of postman. You are now a complete member of our guild. Here’s your own postman’s cap. Dress her with pride.)

Player:
Mission (Mission)

Kevin:
You have made it! We have enough bones for the fund! You remind me of myself when I was young! Interested in another mission?
((You’ve made it! We have enough bones for the foundation! You remind me of myself when I was young! Interested in another mission?)

Player:
Yes (Yes)

Kevin:
Since I am convinced I can trust you, this time you must deliver a valuable present to Dermot on Fibula. Do NOT open it!!! You will find the present behind the door here on the lower right side of this room.
(Since I am convinced that I can trust you, this time you must give a valuable gift to Dermot in Fibula. DO NOT OPEN IT!!! You’ll find the gift behind the right door at the bottom of this room.)

Player:
Bye (Goodbye)

Kevin:
Good bye. (Goodbye.)

You see a post officer’s hat (Arm:1).
It weighs 7.00 oz.
This hat is the insignia of all Tibian post officers.

After completing the dialogue with Kevin you will receive your postman title, whose badge is the postman’s cap, dressed by all the members of the postal service in Tibia. It’s not very strong or very valuable, but it’s a nice memory. Walk to the bottom of the room and open the right door to receive the gift mentioned by Dermot.

You see a present.
It weighs 12.00 oz.

Don’t try to open the gift. If you do, it will disappear and you will get nothing. Also, in doing so, there’s no way Kevin’s going to give you another one, so you’ll have to buy one from Black Bert for 16000gp (16k), only if you’ve finished The Thieves Guild Quest.

With the gift in your hands, you must head to the island of Fibula. To reach it, you must leave through the southwest gate of the city of Thais and head south. You’ll find Wolves on your way. You’ll probably see Hardek on your way or a narrow bridge to your right, a sign that you’re doing well. Keep walking in this direction leaning a little to the left and eventually you’ll see Bears. From that point, go south and you’ll see some rocks and a ladder (A), go down it.

From here the road is quite even, with no forks or second paths. All you’ll find is Cave Rats. Don’t panic along the way with lava, there are no monsters to face.

Once you get to the surface on the other side (B), walk south along the path, passing by two narrow bridges, to reach the village of the island of Fibula. On your left you will see a building, enter it and inside you will find Dermot (C), the man you’re looking for.

Dialogue with Dermot

Player:
Hi (Hello)

Dermot:
Hello, traveller [nombre]. How can I help you?
(Hello, traveler [nombre]. How can I help you?)

Player:
Present (Gift)

Dermot:
You have a present for me?? Really?
(Do you have a present for me? Seriously?)

Player:
Yes (Yes)

Dermot:
Thank you very much!
(Thank you very much!)

Player: Bye (Goodbye)

Dermot:
See you again, [nombre].
(See you again, [nombre].)

After you’ve concluded this dialogue, you’ll have given Dermot the gift and it’s time to go back to Kevin for more missions. If you’re not sure if you made the delivery or not, you can always check your Quest Log.

Having left Fibula and traveled from Thais to the Post Office, it’s time to talk to Kevin again for more missions.

Sixth Dialogue with Kevin

Player:
Hi (Hello)

Kevin:
Greetings [nombre], what brings you to the headquarter of the postmaster’s guild?
(Greetings, [nombre], what brings you to the postman guild barracks?)

Player:
Mission (Mission)

Kevin:
Splendid, I knew we could trust you. I would like to ask for your help in another matter. Are you interested?
(Splendid, I knew I could trust you. I’d like to ask you for help in another matter. Are you interested?)

Player:
Yes (Yes)

Kevin:
Ok. We need a new set of uniforms, and only the best will do for us. Please travel to Venore and negotiate with Hugo Chief a contract for new uniforms.
(Good. We need new uniforms, and only the best will do it for us. Please travel to Venore and negotiate with Hugo Chief a contract for new uniforms.)

Player:
Bye (Goodbye)

Kevin:
Good bye. (Goodbye.)

What you need to do, therefore, is travel to the city of Venore. get out of the Post Office and walk east to get to it, following the path. Once in town, head to the Dress for Success(A) store, located southeast of the main Depot. Go up to the second floor of this store to find Hugo Chief, talk to him.

First Dialogue with Hugo

Player:
Hi (Hello)

Hugo:
Be greeted, [nombre] and welcome to the wearhouse!
(Greetings, [nombre] and welcome to the ‘vestienda’!)

Player:
Uniforms (Uniforms)

Hugo:
A new uniform for the post officers? I am sorry, but my dog ate the last dress pattern we used. You need to supply us with a new dress pattern.
(A new uniform for postmen? I’m sorry, but my dog devoured the last dress pattern we wore. You need to provide us with a new dress pattern.)

Player:
Dress Pattern

Hugo:
It was … wonderous beyond wildest imaginations! I have no clue where Kevin Postner got it from. Better ask him.
(It was … wonderful to the wildest imaginings! I have no idea where Kevin Postner got it. You better ask him.)

Player:
Bye (Goodbye)

Hugo:
Good bye, [nombre].
(Goodbye, [nombre].)

There’s not much to explain. After this short dialogue you will learn that the fundamental piece for creating new uniforms, the dress pattern, is missing, and only Kevin knows where to get another one, so head to the Post Office to talk to him.

Seventh Dialogue with Kevin

Player:
Hi (Hello)

Kevin:
Greetings [nombre], what brings you to the headquarter of the postmaster’s guild?
(Greetings, [nombre], what brings you to the postman guild barracks?)

Player:
Dress Pattern

Kevin:
Oh yes, where did we get that from …? Let’s see, first ask the great technomancer in Kazordoon for the technical details. Return here afterwards.
(Oh yes, where did we get it …? Let’s see, first ask the great technomancer in Kazordoon for technical details. Come back here after that.)

Player:
Bye (Goodbye)

Kevin:
Good bye. (Goodbye.)

Our next destination is Kazordoon. However, finding technomancer can be somewhat complicated given the strange shape of the city. We will guide you to it from the entrance of the city.

From the entrance of the city (B), advance south until you reach the train carriages. They won’t be necessary, so ignore them and walk to your right to find stairs (C). When you get down, you’re probably attacked by a Rat or a Bat. Walk north and then, at the first crossroads you take, go down the road on the left. You’ll face a few more Bats. Keep walking in this direction until you see some stairs (D), go get them. Once down, walk straight north and you’ll find Talphion inside his gigantic machine. It is likely that given the noise produced by the great machinery, Talphion cannot hear you, so you must insist on your dialogue.

Dialogue with Talphion

Player:
Hi (Hello)

Talphion:
HIHOOOO [nombre]! [ondas]
(HOLAAAA [nombre]! [ondas])

Player:
Dress Pattern (Patrón de Vestido)

Talphion:
DRESS FLATTEN? WHO WANTS ME TO FLATTEN A DRESS?
(DRESS FLATTENING? WHO WANTS ME TO FLATTEN A DRESS?)

Player:
Dress Pattern (Patrón de Vestido)

Talphion:
A PRESS LANTERN? NEVER HEARD ABOUT IT!
(A PRESSURE FLASHLIGHT? I’VE NEVER HEARD OF HER!)

Player:
Dress Pattern (Patrón de Vestido)

Talphion:
CHESS? I DON’T PLAY CHESS!
(AJEDREZ? I DO NOT PLAY AJEDREZ!)

Player:
Dress Pattern (Patrón de Vestido)

Talphion:
A PATTERN IN THIS MESS?? HEY, DON’T INSULT MY MACHINE HALL!
(A PATTERN IN THIS DISORDER?? HEY, DON’T INSULT MY ENGINE ROOM!)

Player:
Dress Pattern (Patrón de Vestido)

Talphion:
AH YES! I WORKED ON THE DRESS PATTERN FOR THOSE UNIFORMS. STAINLESS TROUSERS, STEAM DRIVEN BOOTS! ANOTHER MARVEL TO BEHOLD! I’LL SEND A COPY TO KEVIN IMMEDIATELY!
(AH YES! I WORKED ON THE DRESS PATTERN FOR THOSE UNIFORMS. STAINLESS PANTS, STEAM PRESSURE BOOTS! ANOTHER WONDER TO ADMIRE! I’LL SEND KEVIN A COPY IMMEDIATELY!)

Player: Bye (Goodbye)

Talphion:
YEAH, GO AWAY!
(YES, GO!)

Once the desperate dialogue with Talphion is over, get out of the place and out of town and return to the Post Office with Kevin, who with Talphion’s instructions is likely to give you some other mission.

Eighth Dialogue with Kevin

Player:
Hi (Hello)

Kevin:
Greetings [nombre], what brings you to the headquarter of the postmaster’s guild?
(Greetings, [nombre], what brings you to the postman guild barracks?)

Player:
Dress Pattern

Kevin:
The mail with Talphion’s instructions just arrived. I remember we asked Queen Eloise of Carlin for the perfect colours. Go there, ask her about the UNIFORMS and report back here.
(The mail with Talphion’s instructions has just arrived. I remember asking Queen Eloise of Carlin about the perfect colors. Go over there, ask him about the UNIFORMS and report here.)

Player:
Bye (Goodbye)

Kevin:
Good bye. (Goodbye.)

Exit the Post Office and walk north to walk to Carlin, past Dwarf Bridge, Kazordoon, Femor Hills and then reach the city. Otherwise, you can travel from Thais to Carlin or from Venore to Carlin (the first option is cheaper, by the way). Whichever way you came, head to Queen Eloise Palace located northwest of the city (F). When you get there, talk to Queen Eloise.

Dialogue with Queen Eloise

Player:
Hail Queen (Long live)

Queen Eloise:
I greet thee, my loyal subject.
(Greetings, my loyal subordinate)
Fenbala: HAIL TO THE QUEEN! (LIVE THE QUEEN!)
Barbara: HAIL TO THE QUEEN! (LIVE THE QUEEN!)

Player:
Uniforms (Uniforms)

Queen Eloise:
I remember about those uniforms, they had a camouflage inlay so they could be worn the inside out too. I will send some color samples via mail to Mr. Postner.
(I remember those uniforms, they had a coat of camouflage so that the inside could be dressed as well. I’ll send some color samples accordingly to Mr. Postner.)

Player: Bye (Goodbye)

Barbara:
LONG LIVE THE QUEEN! You may leave now!
(LONG LIFE TO THE QUEEN! You can go now!)
Fenbala: LONG LIVE THE QUEEN! You may leave now!
(LONG LIFE TO THE QUEEN! You can go now!)
Queen
Eloise:
Farewell, [nombre]!
(See you later, [nombre]!)

Knowing this information, it’s time to go back to the Post Office, to see what else uniforms need to be dressed by postmen. Once there, talk to Kevin again about the dress pattern.

Ninth Dialogue with Kevin

Player:
Hi (Hello)

Kevin:
Greetings [nombre], what brings you to the headquarter of the postmaster’s guild?
(Greetings, [nombre], what brings you to the postman guild barracks?)

Player:
Dress Pattern

Kevin:
The queen has sent me the samples we needed. The next part is tricky. We need the uniforms to emanate some odor that dogs hate. The dog with the best ‘taste’ in that field is Noodles, the dog of King Tibianus. Do you understand so far?
(The queen sent me the samples we needed. The next part is squealing. We need uniforms to smell a certain smell that dogs hate. The dog with the best ‘taste’ in this field is Noodles, King Tibianus’ dog. Do you understand what it’s about?)

Player:
Yes (Yes)

Kevin:
Good. Go there and find out what taste he dislikes most: moldy cheese, a piece of fur or a bananaskin. Tell him to SNIFF, then the object. Show him the object and ask ‘Do you like that?’. DON’T let the guards know what you are doing.
(Good. Go over there and find out what smell it hates the most: the woody cheese, a piece of fur or a banana peel. Tell him HUELA, then the object. Show him the object and ask him ‘Do you like it?’ DO NOT let the guards know what you are doing.)

Player:
Bye (Goodbye)

Kevin:
Good bye. (Goodbye.)

Before going to “talk” with Noodles, you need to have the necessary items. Here’s a little guide to how to get them and where to get them.

Moldy Cheese: You can find Moldy Cheese mainly in places inhabited by Goblins, such as Femor Hills or Goblins Caves on Edron Island. Usually, you find them booted, but if there aren’t any, you can kill some Goblins and get one easily. In addition, it is also given from Loot by the Mutated Rats and Plaguesmiths.

You see a moldy cheese.
It weighs 4.00 oz.

Dirty Fur: It’s Loot by Orc Spearmen and Juggernauts. Knowing it’s hard enough for you to go for the second one to get a simple Dirty Fur, let’s focus on the Orc Spearmen. They are usually dumped in orcs caves, such as Thais Ancient Temple or Troll Caves.

You see a dirty fur.
It weighs 2.00 oz.

Banana Skin: It’s not Loot from any monster, so the only ones you can get are the ones you collect from the ground. Usually in the dumpsters is full of Banana Skins. With dumpsters we mean places with a lot of garbage, not dustbins. Trolls Caves are a very good place to look for them.

You see a banana skin.
It weighs 0.30 oz.

With the three items in your possession, head to the city of Thais, to King Tibianus Castle, located to the northwest (G). Once there, head to the king’s room. Around him you’ll see Noodles. The best way to keep the guards from seeing you is to greet the dog and then push it to one of the lower corners of the room.

Dialogue with Noodles

Player:
Hi (Hello)

Noodles:
[sniff] Woof! [sniff]

Player:
Sniff Bananaskin (Smells Banana Peel)

Noodles: [sniff] [sniff]

Player:
Do you like that? (Do you like it?)

Noodles:
Woof!

Player:
Sniff Piece of Fur

Noodles: [sniff] [sniff]

Player:
Do you like that? (Do you like it?)

Noodles:
Woof!

Player:
Sniff Moldy Cheese

Noodles: [sniff] [sniff]

Player:
Do you like that? (Do you like it?)

Noodles:
Meeep! Grrrrr! [spits]

The dog won’t give you a chance to say goodbye, but you’ll have found out that the smell of Moldy Cheese dislikes dogs. With this important information, go back to the Post Office and tell Kevin what happened.

Tenth Dialogue with Kevin

Player:
Hi (Hello)

Kevin:
Greetings [nombre], what brings you to the headquarter of the postmaster’s guild?
(Greetings, [nombre], what brings you to the postman guild barracks?)

Player:
Dress Pattern

Kevin:
Fine, fine. I think that should do it. Tell Hugo that we order those uniforms. The completed dress pattern will soon arrive in Venore. Report to me when you have talked to him.
(Okay, good. I thought that would hate him. Talk to Hugo to order those uniforms. The completed dress pattern will soon arrive in Venore. Report when you’ve talked to him.)

Player:
Bye (Goodbye)

Kevin:
Good bye. (Goodbye.)

Just like you did at the beginning of the mission, it’s time to talk to Hugo Chief again. Head to the city of Venore, on the second floor of the Dress for Success store, and talk to Hugo again to inform him that you’ve regained the dress pattern.

Second Dialogue with Hugo

Player:
Hi (Hello)

Hugo:
Be greeted, [nombre] and welcome to the wearhouse!
(Greetings, [nombre] and welcome to the ‘vestienda’!)

Player:
Dress Pattern

Hugo:
By the gods of fashion! Didn’t it do that I fed the last dress pattern to my poor dog? Will this mocking of all which is taste and fashion never stop?? Ok, ok, you will get those ugly, stinking uniforms and now get lost, fashion terrorist.
(By the fashion gods! Maybe I didn’t manage to feed my poor dog with the last dress pattern. Will this mockery never stop to taste and fashion? All right, all right, you’re going to get those ugly, stinking uniforms and now get lost, fashion terrorist.)

Player:
Bye (Goodbye)

Hugo:
Good bye, [nombre].
(Goodbye, [nombre].)

As you can see, Hugo is quite frustrated as he himself had made his dog eat the old dress pattern, as he considered the uniforms to be horrible. But well, the contract has been signed and the new uniforms are in the process of being created, ending this mission.

Having spoken to Hugo Chief about the new uniforms, it’s time to go back to the Post Office and, since you’ve completed two more missions, ask for your breakthrough.

Eleventh Dialogue with Kevin

Player:
Hi (Hello)

Kevin:
Greetings [nombre], what brings you to the headquarter of the postmaster’s guild?
(Greetings, [nombre], what brings you to the postman guild barracks?)

Player:
Mission (Mission)

Kevin:
Excellent! Another job well done! Would you accept another mission?
(Excellent! Another job well done! Would you accept another mission?)

Player:
Yes

Player:
Yes (Yes)

Kevin:
From now on it shall be known that you are a grand postman. You are now a privileged member until the end of days. Most captains around the world have an agreement with our guild to transport our privileged members, like you, for less gold.
(From now on it will be known that you are a great postman. You are now a privileged member until the end of days. Many captains of the world have a deal with our gemio to transport our privileged members, like you, for less money.)

Player:
Mission (Mission)

Kevin:
Excellent! Another job well done! Would you accept another mission?
(Excellent! Another job well done! Would you accept another mission?)

Player:
Yes (Yes)

Kevin:
Good, so listen. Hugo Chief informed me that he has needed the measurements of our postofficers. Go and bring me the measurements of Ben, Lokur, Dove, Liane, Chrystal and Olrik.
(Well, then listen. Hugo Chief informed me that he needs the measurements of our postmen. Go and get me the measurements of Ben, Lokur, Dove, Liane, Chrystal and Olrik.)

Player: Bye (Goodbye)

Kevin:
Good bye. (Goodbye.)

As you can see, you have to go ask six postmen all over Tibia about their measurements. You can do it in the order you want although we recommend following our route, because with it you will go around less and spend much less time.

Thais

The first postman we’ll visit is Benjamin from the Thai Depot. Walk from the Post Office to the city of Thais and once there head to the Depot (A) to find Benjamin. When you find him, talk to him.

Dialogue with Benjamin

Player:
Hi (Hello)

Benjamin:
Hello. How may I help you [nombre]? Ask me for a trade if you want to buy something. I can also explain the mail system.
(Hello. How can I help you, [nombre]? Ask me about an exchange if you want to buy something. I can also explain the mail system.)

Player:
Measurements

Benjamin:
Oh they haven’t changed much since… [tells a boring and confusing story about a cake, a parcel, himself and two squirrels, and finally he tells you his measurements in the end]
(Oh, they haven’t changed much since … [he tells you a boring and confusing story about a cake, a package, himself and two squirrels, and tells you his measurements in the end].)

Player:
Bye (Goodbye)

Benjamin:
It was a pleasure to help you, [nombre].
(It was a pleasure to help you, [nombre].)

At the conclusion of this dialogue, leave the Depot and head to the city of Carlin. You can do this by boat, for only 100gp, or on foot. Although we recommend that you do it by boat, because you save a lot of time and silly laps.

Carlin

Once in the city of Carlin, head to the City Depot (B), located west of the temple and south of the Queen’s Palace, which we visited earlier. Once inside, we’ll meet Liane, who we need to talk to. Before proceeding, you should know that Liane will first ask you for 12 Arrows. If you don’t own them, you can buy them with Perac to the west of the city, next to the exit, for 36gp. Also, if you’re Paladin, you can produce them yourself using the Conjure Arrow spell.

Dialogue with Liane

Player:
Hi (Hello)

Liane:
Hello. How may I help you [nombre]? Ask me for a trade if you want to buy something. I can also explain the mail system.
(Hello. How can I help you, [nombre]? Ask me about an exchange if you want to buy something. I can also explain the mail system.)

Player:
Measurements

Liane:
I have more urgent problems to attend to than that. Those hawks are hunting my carrier pigeons. Bring me 12 arrows and I’ll see if I have the time for this nonsense. Do you have 12 arrows with you?
(I have more urgent problems to attend to than that. Those falcons are killing my messenger pigeons. Bring me 12 arrows and I’ll see if I have time for this pointless thing. Do you have 12 arrows with you?)

Player:
Yes (Yes)

Liane:
Great! Now I’ll teach them a lesson … For those measurements … [tells you her measurements]
(Great! Now I’ll teach you a lesson … For these measures … [te cuenta sus medidas] )

Player:
Bye (Goodbye)

Liane:
It was a pleasure to help you, [nombre].
(It was a pleasure to help you, [nombre].)

After receiving Liane’s measurements, leave the Depot to head for the town of Ab’Dendriel. You can go by boat, however, if you don’t have that much money, you can walk away as it’s very close. Simply go out the north or east portal and walk along the path until you reach Femor Hills. Once there, walk northeast and you will reach the city of the elves.

Ab’Dendriel

In Ab’Dendriel you’ll have to ask Olrik for the measurements. Unlike the others, he is not in the Depot, though very close to him. If you’ve arrived on foot, just walk to the right of the entrance to meet the post office (C). If you’ve arrived by boat, head to the Depot and walk southwest of it to meet Olrik.

Besides not being in a Depot like everyone else, Olrik’s going to make things a little harder. To get his measurements, you’ll have to bet with him. He’ll throw a dice and if he pulls a six, you get the measurements. However, if you don’t get a 6, you’ll have to give it 5gp, so you should bring some money before talking to it. Don’t worry, it’s not that hard for me to get a six.

Dialogue with Olrik

Player:
Hi (Hello)

Olrik:
Greetings, [nombre]. This is the post office. May I help you? Ask me for a trade if you want to buy something. I can also explain the mail system.
(Greetings, [nombre]. This is the post office. Can I help you? Ask me for an exchange if you want to buy something. I can also explain the mail system.)

Player:
Measurements

Olrik:
My measurements? Listen, let’s make that a bit more exciting… No, no, not what you think! I mean let’s gamble. I will roll a says. If I roll a 6 you win and I’ll tell you what you need to know, else I win and get 5 gold. deal?
(My measurements? Listen, let’s make this a little more exciting… No, no, it’s not what you think! I mean bet. I’ll throw a dice. If you get a 6 win and I’ll tell you what you need to know, otherwise I win and get 5 coins. Deal?)

Player:
Yes (Yes)

Olrik:
Ok, and it’s … 4! You have lost. I’ve. Another game?
(All right, and it’s … 4! You lose. I’ve. Another game?)

Player:
Yes (Yes)

Olrik:
Ok, no weights in the says, no dirty tricks, are you ready?
(Okay, no weights on the die, no dirty tricks, are you ready?)

Player:
Yes (Yes)

Olrik:
Ok, and it’s … 5! You have lost. I’ve. Another game?
(All right, and it’s … 5! You lose. I’ve. Another game?)

Player:
Yes (Yes)

Olrik:
Ok, no weights in the says, no dirty tricks, are you ready?
(Okay, no weights on the die, no dirty tricks, are you ready?)

Player:
Yes (Yes)

Olrik:
Ok, here we go … 6! You have won! How lucky you are! So listen …[tells you what you need to know]
(All right, here we go … 6! You won! How lucky you are! Listen … [te dice lo que necesitas saber] )

Player: Bye (Goodbye)

Olrik:
Farewell, [nombre].
(See you later, [nombre].)

You’ll probably require more than a few attempts, but you’ll finally get it. With the measurements you need, exit Ab’Dendriel on the southern portal and head south to go to the city of Kazordoon.

Kazordoon

This section of the guide will start from the entrance of Kazordoon and include a similar signage but with small letters not to alter, by this small map, the rest of the Spoil.

From the entrance of the city (a), walk south and you will encounter the carriages of the city of Kazordoon (x). If you purchased the ticket to use them, get on the one who goes to the Depot to appear there instantly. If you don’t own the ticket for the wagons, walk to your right and go down the stairs (b). You may be attacked by a Bat or Rat on the way down. Walk north and continue in this direction until you reach a few stairs up (c), go up for them. Right next to the stairs you’ve come down, you’ll see other (d), go up for them. From this point, head east and you’ll find yourself at the Kazordoon Depot. Inside him, look for Lokur (D) and when you find him, talk to him.

Dialogue with Lokur

Player:
Hi (Hello)

Lokur:
Hiho [nombre]. How may I help you [nombre]? Ask me for a trade if you want to buy something. I can also explain the mail system or sell tickets for the ore wagon service.
(Hello [nombre]. How I could help you, [nombre]? Ask me for an exchange if you want to buy something. I can also explain the mail system or sell tickets for the wagon service.)

Player:
Measurements

Lokur:
Come on, I have no clue what they are. Better ask my armorer Kroox for such nonsense. Go and ask him for good ol’ Lokur’s measurements, he’ll know.
(Come on, I have no idea what they are. You’d better ask my blacksmith Kroox about this. Go and ask him about the measurements of the good old Lokur, he’ll know.)

Player:
Bye (Goodbye)

Lokur:
Come back if you need my services, [nombre].
(Come back if you need my services, [nombre].)

Now you must find Kroox. Don’t worry, his shop is very close to Lokur. Next to Lokur, you’ll see some stairs (e), go down them. Walk north and then to the right. Then go to the store further north and you’ll find Kroox (E) in it. Talk to him.

Dialogue with Kroox

Player:
Hi (Hello)

Kroox:
Welcome to Kroox Quality Armor, [nombre]! Wanna take a look, ask me for a trade.
(Welcome to Kroox Quality Armor, [nombre]. If you want to take a look, ask me for an exchange.)

Player:
Lokur’s Measurements (Medidas de Lokur)

Kroox
: Hm, well I guess its ok to tell you … [tells you about Lokurs measurements]
(Hm, well I guess it’s okay for me to tell you … [te dice las medidas de Lokur] )

Player: Bye (Goodbye)

Kroox:
Good bye. Come back soon.
(Goodbye. Come back soon.)

With this you will have obtained the measurements of the fourth postman. For the next one, you need to go to Venore, so you must leave the city of Kazordoon first of all. Once you’re out, head to Dwarf Bridge and then walk along the Southeast Trail until you reach the city.

Venore

Dove is located in the main Depot of Venore (F), which is located northeast of the main entrance of the city (the east), southwest of the ship and directly to the left of the temple. At the center of the Depot is Dove, who you need to talk to. For me to give you his measurements, you need to give him Grapes. If you don’t own one, you can buy some from Rodney at Crunor’s Finest store, located east of the ship.

Dialogue with Dove

Player:
Hi (Hello)

Dove:
Be greeted, noble [nombre] and welcome to the post office.
(Greetings, noble [nombre] and welcome to the post office.)

Player:
Measurements

Dove:
Oh, no! I knew that day would eat! I am slightly above the allowed weight and if you can’t supply me with some grapes to slim down I will get fired. Do you happen to have some grapes with you?
(Oh no! I knew this day would come! I’m slightly over the permitted weight and if you can’t provide me with some weight-loss grapes I’ll get fired. Do you have some grapes with you?)

Player:
Yes (Yes)

Dove:
Oh thank you! Thank you so much! So listen … [whispers her measurements]
(Oh thank you! Thanks a lot! Then listen … [te murmura sus medidas] )

Player:
Bye (Goodbye)

Dove:
Come back soon, nobleman [nombre].
(Come back soon, noble [nombre].)

Now, you must go to Edron to talk to the last wallet, Chrystal. The fastest and cheapest way to get to Edron Island is by boat from Venore. Get out of the Depot and walk to the right. Arriving at the temple on your way north and you’ll find yourself on the boat, where Captain Fearless will take you to Edron only for 30gp.

Edron

Chrystal is located in the City Depot (G). To find her, enter the fortress and walk to the right. Without entering any particular place, walk south and then to the left. You’ll see some stairs up, ignore them and go down the back road and you’ll meet Chrystal. Talk to her.

Dialogue with Chrystal

Player:
Hi (Hello)

Chrystal:
At your service [nombre] and welcome to the post office.
(At your service, [nombre], and welcome to the post office.)

Player:
Measurements

Chrystal:
If it’s necessary … [tells you her measurements]
(If necessary … [te dice sus medidas] )

Player: Bye (Goodbye)

Chrystal:
Who is next? (Who’s next?)

Without any problem, the last wallet will give you the last steps you needed. It’s time to go back to Kevin and report your mission. The fastest way to get to where he is traveling to Femor Hills with Pine by 50gp. However, if you want to save, you can return to Venore with Captain Seahorse for 30gp and walk from there to the Post Office.

Having traveled through many cities in search of the measurements of Tibia’s post office officers, it’s time to go back to Kevin and report your mission to him.

Twelfth Dialogue with Kevin

Player:
Hi (Hello)

Kevin:
Greetings [nombre], what brings you to the headquarter of the postmaster’s guild?
(Greetings, [nombre], what brings you to the postman guild barracks?)

Player: Mission (Mission)

Kevin:
Once more you have impressed me! Are you willing to do another job?
(Once again you have impressed me! Are you willing to do another job?

Player:
Yes (Yes)

Kevin:
Ok but your next assignment might be dangerous. Our Courier Waldo has been missing for a while. I must assume he is dead. Can you follow me so far?
(Okay, but your next assignment could be dangerous. Our messenger Waldo has been lost for a while. I have to assume he’s dead. Are you going to understand me?)

Player:
Yes (Yes)

Kevin:
Find out about his whereabouts and retrieve him or at least his posthorn. He was looking for a new underground passage that is rumoured to be found underneath the troll-infested Mountain east of Thais.
(Find out his whereabouts and retrieve his body or at least his trumpet. I was looking for a new underground passage rumored to be under the Trolls-infested mountain east of Thais.)

Player:
Bye (Goodbye)

Kevin:
Good bye. (Goodbye.)

Get out of the Post Office and head to the city of Thais. Once there, go out the east portal and walk east, leaning south to find the mountain mentioned by Kevin. You’ll see some fires in the center and several Trolls and Poison Spiders around it. Kill them and get close to the mountain. You’ll see several piles of rocks. Use your shovel on the last of them (A) and you’ll open a hole, go down it. Once down, walk to your right and go down a second hole (B).

When you go down, you may be attacked by one or two Orcs. Walk north and then take the path on the right, where you’ll find a couple more Orcs. Kill them and climb the bottom ladder (C). Once up, you’ll see on your left a door with the shiny knob. He’ll probably come and attack you with a lured Orc Warrior. Open the door and body behind her to get Waldo’s trumpet.

You see Waldos Posthorn.
It weighs 22.00 oz.

With the trumpet in your hands, you can leave Trolls Caves on the same route we explained and then head to the Post Office to report your mission with Kevin.

Note: Before starting this mission, we would like to mention that you require 500.00oz of available capacity to receive the bag with letters to Santa Claus. After completing the previous mission, you can head to Thais and send what you won’t need from your team to the city of Carlin, as this is closest to Vega, the island you’re headed for.

Tenth Third Dialogue with Kevin

Player:
Hi (Hello)

Kevin:
Greetings [nombre], what brings you to the headquarter of the postmaster’s guild?
(Greetings, [nombre], what brings you to the postman guild barracks?)

Player: Mission (Mission)

Kevin:
So Waldo is dead? This is grave news indeed. Did you recover his posthorn?
(So Waldo’s dead? This is definitely bad news. Did you get his trumpet back?)

Player:
Yes (Yes)

Kevin:
Thank you. We will honor this. Your next mission will be a very special one. Good thing you are a special person as well. Are you ready?
(Thank you. We’ll honor this. Your next mission will be a very special one. It’s good since you’re a special person too. Are you ready?)

Player:
Yes (Yes)

Player:
Yes (Yes)

Kevin:
From now on you are a grand postman for special operations. You are an honored member of our guild and earned the privilege of your own post horn. Here, take it.
(From now on you’re a great postman for special operations. You are an honorable member of our guild and you obtained the privilege of having your own trumpet. Here, keep it.)

Player:
Mission (Mission)

Kevin:
So are you ready for another Mission?
(So you’re ready for another mission?)

Player:
Yes (Yes)

Kevin:
So listen well. Behind the lower left door you will find a bag. The letters in the bag are for none other than Santa Claus! Deliver them to his house on the isle of Vega, USE the bag on his mailbox and report back here.
(Listen carefully. Behind the left door at the bottom of the room you will find a bag. The cards in that bag are none other than Santa’s! Take them home to Vega Island, USA bag in their mailbox and report here.)

Player: Bye (Goodbye)

Kevin:
Good bye. (Goodbye.)

You see a post horn.
It weighs 15.00 oz.
It’s property of the Postmaster’s Guild and only rewarded to loyal members.

After finishing the dialogue with Kevin you will be promoted to be a great postman for special operations, whose badge is the trumpet, which not any member of the postman guild possesses. It’s not very valuable but it’s definitely a great reminder of the skills and missions you had to overcome to get it. Head to the back of the room and open the box behind the left door.

You see a letterbag.
It weighs 500.00 oz.
This bag is nearly bursting from all the letters inside.

With this heavy bag in your hands, you must head to Santa’s house on Vega Island, one of the Ice Islands. To get to it, head to the city of Carlin and get out of it through the western or northern portal. Walk northwest, killing some Bats and Bears along the way, until you reach the raft where Nielson (A) is located, who will take you to Vega for 20gp.

When you travel, you’ll appear on Vega’s raft, next to Carlson. From where you are, walk west, leaning slightly to the south. You won’t find much difficulty on this island, just a few simple Winter Wolves or Polar Bears. You’ll probably listen to some Wyverns, but don’t worry, you don’t have to go through them and there’s no way they’re going to get to you.

Eventually, you’ll reach a small mountain. Go up the stairs (B) and you’ll find yourself in front of Santa’s house. Right next to the entrance, you’ll see a mailbox. Use the Letterbag you own in the mailbox and green musical notes will appear from it. In addition, your Letterbag will be transformed into a simple Red Bag.

Having done this, you will be done with your mission, so you must go back to Kevin’s and report. To return to the mainland, simply ask Carlson for a ticket to Tibia. If you sent your Items to Carlin as we mentioned at the beginning, it’s time to pick them up. Don’t forget them!

Having taken the heavy bag of cards to Vega and picked up your Items, it’s time to go back to Kevin to ask for the latest mission of this long Quest.

Tenth Fourth Dialogue with Kevin

Player:
Hi (Hello)

Kevin:
Greetings [nombre], what brings you to the headquarter of the postmaster’s guild?
(Greetings, [nombre], what brings you to the postman guild barracks?)

Player: Mission (Mission)

Kevin:
You did it? I hope you did not catch a flu in the cold! However there’s another mission for you. Are you interested?
(Did you? I hope you didn’t catch a cold in the snow! Yet there’s another mission for you. Are you interested?)

Player:
Yes (Yes)

Kevin:
That’s great. Here is a letter for you to deliver. Well, to be honest, no one else volunteered. It’s a letter from the mother of Markwin, the king of Mintwallin. Deliver that letter to him, but note that you will not be welcome there.
(Excellent. Here’s a letter for you to deliver. Well, to be honest, no one else volunteered. It’s a letter from Markwin’s mother, the king of Mintwallin. Give him this letter, but keep in mind that you won’t be welcome there.)

Player: Bye (Goodbye)

Kevin:
Good bye. (Goodbye.)

You see a letter to Markwin.
It weighs 0.50 oz.

At the end of the dialogue, Kevin will give you Markwin’s mother’s letter to give it to him. This won’t be an easy task. Leave the Post Office and head to the city of Thais, starting point to head to the king of the Minotaurs.

To reach Markwin Palace in the underground town of Mintwallin, head towards the Ancient Temple, whose entrance is located north of Thais, in a small cottage (A). Go down the stairs and head north, where you’ll find more stairs (B).

Walk south to find yourself in a spacious room with Rotworms. Take the road on the right and you’ll find yourself in tunnels with Poison Spiders and Rotworms. Keep walking to the right and then turn down to find yourself, after advancing a little further, with Orc Spearmen and Orc Warriors. Derró them, and after passing through their small camp, walk to the right. You’ll encounter Rotworms again and a fork of several paths (C), in which you’ll probably find a lureed Fire Devil, beware of him. Walk to the right through the Rotworms tunnel and rocks until you reach some stairs (D), go down them.

After a lot of Poison Gas, you’ll see a ladder. Go through the Poison Gas and use the Antidote spell or an Antidote Rune to heal you. Continue to advance in the only direction available and you will find a camp of Minotaurs, break them down. You’re entering the Minotaur kingdom. Walk up the path on the left (on the right, as you climb, you will find a Dragon) and continue until the path is divided. From there, walk to the right and continue in this direction until the road goes up and you have to pass on a bridge with Geysers. You’ll see several holes and Poison Spiders. Go down the hole indicated on the map (E).

When you get down, you’ll face two Cyclops. Throw them down and walk north carelessly, there’s absolutely nothing to face there. When the road changes direction, go left and then down until you reach some stairs (F), go up them. Continue down the only path available until you reach the same floor as before (G). Walk south and continue along the first path to the left you see. Go in this direction until you see a path to the left, go for it and keep walking until you reach two stairs down (H). Go down them and walk to the left to meet the mint wallin city entrance.

As you pass the bridge you will meet the welcome committee, consisting of 6 Minotaurs, 2 Minotaur Archers, 2 Minotaur Mages and 6 Minotaur Guards. Kill them all, making use of spells, runes and Ice item weapons to make this much faster and easier. As you pass this first point, walk south, either through the building or on the right side of the building and you will reach Markwin’s palace. One or two Minotaurs are likely to come and attack you from the left.

Don’t go up the stairs and continue advancing into the palace to find Markwin with two Minotaur Guards and, very rarely, accompanied by General Murius. In that case, simply use Ice item spells to quickly take it down.

Before greeting Markwin, you should know that if it’s your first time talking to him, he’ll summon 4 Minotaur Archers, a Minotaur Mage, and 2 Minotaur Guards, so be pretty careful and use Avalanche runes or similar spells to simplify the fight.

Dialogue with Markwin
(First time you talk to him)

Player:
Hi (Hello)

Markwin:
No! The hornless have reached my city! BODYGUARDS TO ME!
(No! The homeless have come to my city! SAVE ME!)

Dialogue with Markwin
(Having defeated Markwin’s invocations)

Player:
Hi (Hello)

Markwin:
Well … you defeated my guards! Now everything is over! I guess I will have to answer your questions now.
(Well … you’ve defeated my guards! Now it’s all over! I guess I’ll have to answer your questions now.)

Player:
Letter

Markwin:
A letter from my Moohmy?? Do you have a letter from my Moohmy to me?
(A letter from my mom? Do you have a letter from my mom to me?)

Player:
Yes (Yes)

Markwin:
Uhm, well thank you, hornless being.
(Uhm, well thank you, be hornless.)

Player:
Bye (Goodbye)

Markwin:
Hm… good bye.
(Hm … goodbye.)

After finishing this dialogue, Markwin will take the card away from you and you can get out of there. Be careful, as it is quite possible that the Minotaurs at the entrance have reappeared, so they can complicate you from the place. The rest of the way is exactly the same as you’ve come before.

As you leave Mintwallin and Thais Ancient Temple, head to the Post Office to talk to Kevin about your latest mission

Fifteenth Dialogue with Kevin
