Next week On September 10 , the client’s development framework will be updated to a newer version.
For players, this means that there will be some general changes to the settings, as well as changes to the minimum system requirements.
- For Windows users: Windows 10 (1809 or later) required, 64-bit operating system architecture only, no more than 32-bit.
- The macOS client will require at least macOS 11.0.
- Linux users need a relatively modern and up-to-date Linux distribution.
- Minimum RAM requirement: 1 GB → 2 GB.
- Minimum CPU requirement: Pentium 4 1.5 GHz → Intel Core i3 2.5 GHz, recommended: Core i3 2.5 GHz → Core i5 2.5 GHz.
- New graphics engine options that replace the old ones: DirectX11 and Directx12, Vulkan, OpenGL and macOS Metal depending on the operating system and hardware.
The software renderer option will only be available on Windows.
All clients running on systems that meet the new requirements will be automatically updated.
A legacy Windows version of the Tibia client is still temporarily available, but is no longer actively developed.
Players who do not meet the new requirements can continue to use this client until it is discontinued, but please note that no new features will be added and existing features may even be disabled.
This client will be deleted in the future.
