A new dawn has arrived, as vocational settings are finally here!
After first announcing them in October, we invited a large number of players to participate in the test of these new and changed features that we came up with. During the test, we made a number of improvements based on your comments and suggestions; thanks again to all those who contributed constructively to the discussion and made useful suggestions to us. Subsequently, we re-checked the vocation settings internally, in the state they were at the end of the test server. And now, it’s time to introduce the settings in all the game worlds.
We have created a list of changes that involve these adjustments, separated by vocation where appropriate. For the most part, they are the same ones who were at the end of the test. However, we have decided not to implement the reduced spread of single-target non-critical physical attacks, which would have affected knights and paladins. After reviewing his comments again, it became clear that the potential advantage of increasing the minimum damage would not compensate for the perceived disadvantage of reducing the maximum damage, although it would not have resulted in any difference in average damage production.
We appreciate the constructive input and feedback regarding the adjustments. We have created four threads, one for each vocation, so post your comments in the thread for which it is most relevant: Knights, Paladins, Druids, Sorcerers. We are also aware that adapting or even innovating your hunting style takes time. Naturally, we’re going to closely track in-game developments and make changes when needed.
Have fun in Tibia,
